Beverage Equipment Industry’s Field Trip in Taiwan for Future Development

With reform and opening-up policy in China, beverage industry has experienced a 30-year rapid growth period. However, with the development of community economy and change in people’s lifestyle and consumption conception, products, market and status of beverage industry have gone through structural changes, and connotation and extension of the industry have also changed accordingly. Currently, China industrial structure is in the stage of upgrading, and the development of beverage industry is also in its structural adjustment period.

Facing the special period of the development of the industry, CBST Organizing Committee, after understanding the related requirements of domestic beverage equipment manufacturers, has organized “A field Trip to Taiwan for Beverage Equipment Manufacturing Enterprise” in August, 2016.

These enterprises visited Taiwan to learn development experiences, experience corporation culture, and understand Taiwan beverage market, thus realizing cooperation and win-win situation through communication and exchange. 13 representatives coming from 13 corporations joined the event, including Krones, Corpoplast, Hefei Zhongchen, Nanjing Light Industrial Machinery, Guangzhou Techlong, Jiangsu Newamster, Shanghai Precise, Jiangsu PHS, Qingdao Delong, Beijing Y.C.T.D., Langfang Sunrise, Shanghai Peiyu, and Foshan Yinghui.

Beverage industry is one of the pillar industry of Taiwan food industry, and it is also the industry with relatively rapid growth. By elaborately preparation of the Organizing Committee, representatives have visited Want Want Group, Ting Hsin International Group, Brand's, AGV and Chiameei. In addition, they have investigated and studied beverage category, Ingredients, nutrient components and packages by visiting supermarkets.

During the trip, all representatives actively conducted communication and exchange to investigate the market strictly conforming to visiting discipline and local laws and regulations. The visiting was a success and have achieved satisfying results. Representatives believed that it was a rewarding trip that they had learned a lot and improved sense of reform and innovation from the pragmatic and open management philosophy, advanced experience in intelligent manufacture, and corporation culture of inheritance and extension. Three phases were used to conclude the achievements: deepen friendship, promote communication and strive for cooperation.

Taiwan, as an inalienable part of China, has shared a special kind of relationship with Mainland. Through this event, development space and cooperation opportunities for companies and institute in Taiwan and Mainland are provided, leading to optimal effect of mutual benefit and win-win situation. Corporations in Taiwan and Mainland have carried out in-depth communication and exchange in terms of technical innovation, management philosophy, talent training in beverage industry, and said that it is the mutual wish for beverage practitioners in both Taiwan and Mainland to create win-win prospects.

“Review Meeting for CBST2015 and Preparation Meeting for CBST2017 the 8th China International Beverage Industry Exhibition on Science and Technology” was held during the visiting. Representatives in the meeting put their heads together to contribute ideas for CBST development and express their best wishes to CBST2017, showing their confidence in the future development of the industry!
