95 million kilos of Spanish melons for 75.57 million euro, at an average price of 0.93/kg.

It was followed by the Netherlands with 39.76 million kilos worth 31.14 million euro, and an average price of 0.78/kg.

The UK ranked fourth after purchasing 34.23 million kilos of melons from Spain for 33.02 million euro at an average price of 0.96/kg.

Portugal was the fifth main destination with purchases of 24.4 million kilos worth 19.93 million euro, at an average price of 0.82/kg.
