the European Regulation 2018/848 heralds a new era in the organic products sector.
Effective January 1, 2023, the regulation mandates the exclusive use of Natural Fruit X Flavours in organic products.
These are flavors where at least 95% of the aromatic ingredients originate from the named fruit, herb or botanical, as outlined in Regulation (EU) 2018/848 Chapter IV, Article 30, Paragraph 5 (a.iii) and Regulation (EC) No 1334/2008 Chapter III, Article 16.
