Mexico: Michoacan exported 32% less avocados to Japan

than last year, but in the remaining seven months, exports were lower than in 2016.

So far in August, producers have only exported 878 tons, while in 2016 they had exported 4,442 tons.

Avocado producers estimate that the total volume exported to Japan in 2016, 49,601 tons, will hardly be reached.
