A good year for snow in Utah has meant an equally good year for local mushrooms. Our demand for mushrooms has been really strong so far this year but then weve had a good snow year too, says Brenda Barney, a wholesaler with Mountain View Mushrooms based in Fillmore, Ut. And demand is really high right now because were in the height of the ski season and have a foodservice holiday going on.
