Brazilian export issues threaten market ties

Reportedly, the Sunrise Group, China's leading soybean trader, has cancelled nearly two million tonnes of soybeans, as a direct result of port congestion, with some ships waiting 40 to 50 days to load at Brazilian ports.

Brazil is becoming a doubtful business partner. If you can't meet deadlines, it will cost you, said managing director of the Association of Soy and Corn Growers State (Aprosoja/MT), Roger Augusto Rodrigues.

The US Department of Agriculture estimates that Brazilian farmers are
