Hain Celestial, a US-based natural and organic food manufacturer, has announced its support for the increased transparency in the labeling of genetically-modified organisms (GMOs).
Since 2010, the company has been taking part in the Non-GMO Project, a non-profit organization committed to preserving and building sources of non-GMO products.
Hain Celestial president and chief executive officer Irwin D. Simon said that about 99% of the company's products are made using non-GMO ingredients.
