A business owned by the family of Lord Vestey, the Queens Master of Horse, supplied horsemeat to the worlds biggest catering company, it emerged last night.
Vestey Foods Group sold minced beef and minced halal beef to Sodexo which contained more than 1 per cent horsemeat, the level set by the Food Standards Agency as an indication of gross negligence or fraud.
