Cuisine Solutions opens new food facility in US

American foods company Cuisine Solutions has opened its new $30m food facility in Sterling, Virginia, US, as part of its plan to cater to the growing demand for its sous-vide cuisine.

The 56,500ft plant will expand the company's capacity to produce customised, gourmet menu items for fast-casual and restaurant chains, hotels, airlines, retailers and consumers.

The facility will use the 'sous-vide' cooking method, which was pioneered by the company.
