Seven of the ten finalists for the Seafood Excellence Awards --the prestigious best-new-products competition held in conjunctionwith the International Boston Seafood Show March 12 -- are frozen.
Finalists compete for two awards: Best New Foodservice Productand Best New Retail Product. Products are evaluated on criteriaincluding uniqueness, taste profile, packaging, marketingpotential, and nutritional value. They were selected from over 70entries in the New Product Showcase.
