Caf Coffee Day (CCD), a division of India-based coffee conglomerate Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading, plans to open 300 new cafs across India in 2013 to compete with global giants such as Barista Lavazza, Costa Coffee and Starbucks.
CCD, which currently operates over 1,410 outlets across the country, serves espresso, latte and cappuccino to customers.
The move is part of the company's strategy to open 2,000 cafs by the end of 2014.
