CP All Plc, the operator of 7-Eleven convenience stores inThailand, will expand into Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam asit seeks to benefit from an integrated Asean market beginning in2015.
Managing director Piyawat Titasattavorakul confirmed that thecompany has submitted a proposal to 7-Eleven's parent company toopen stores in four of Thailand's neighboring countries. It isthe next step after CP won approval to open 7-Eleven outlets inChina by the end of 2013 or early 2014.
