Mller UK has announced plans to create up to 100 UK jobs through a 17 million investment in a new butter manufacturing facility in Market Drayton, Shropshire.
The new facility will have the capacity to produce around 90,000 tonnes of cream and 45,000 tonnes of butter from this autumn.
Mller has traditionally produced yoghurt products in the UK and the move into butter making mirrors the companys plants in Germany which produce a variety of dairy products.
