Poor grape harvest to raise wine prices, Majestic fears

rnational Organisation of Vine and Wine warned last month that this year's poor grape harvest due to extreme weather could lead to a worldwide wine shortage.

Winemakers in Argentina and big producers such as Italy and France have all suffered and the organisation forecast a 6pc drop 6pc in global production to 248.2m hectolitres the lowest level since the seventies.
