Albemarle introduces antimicrobial product for meat

CellVex joins Albemarle's current food safety products, AviBrom and BoviBrom, which are solid forms of hypobromous acid. AviBrom is an antimicrobial processing aid for poultry plants, while BoviBrom is a post-harvest antimicrobial rinse for beef processing.


With the launch of CellVex, Albemarle offers customers two product platforms for hypobromous acid - solid and liquid. All three products are FDA-approved, are efficacious in red
