About 12 European food and beverage manufacturers and retailers have made a commitment to harmonize nutrition labelling and information across all markets in the European Union (EU).
As a part of this initiative, the companies plan to voluntarily keep the calorie information on the front of the pack. This move is aimed at helping consumers to have access to consistent, meaningful nutritional information on products.
