Egyptian DinaFarms to ramp up raw milk production

Dina for Agricultural Investments (DinaFarms), an Egypt-based dairy producer, has received 1,000 milking cows from the US, as part of expansion plans to maximize its raw milk production capacity.

In September 2012, the company had secured an EGP92m ($15m) syndicated loan facility to finance civil work, machinery and purchase 2,000 cows to raise milk production from the current 60,000 tons per annum to 80,000 tons per annum in 2013.
