Diageo to start $252m Ireland brewing facility next year

Diageo Ireland is planning to start its new $252m (153m) brewing facility at the St. James's Gate brewery in Dublin, Ireland, by the mid-2013.

The company has formally launched construction of the facility, which is the fourth such structure to be built at the brewery in its 250-year history, reports irishexaminer.com.

The facility is expected to produce 7m hectolitres per year, the company said.
