The hacienda Valle de Rosa, the largest grape producer in Portugal, last week began exports to China and expects to reach more Asian countries in 2013, said the company spokesman, Ricardo Costa.
The first shipment to China, consisting of twenty tons of table grapes, left last Thursday for Hong Kong, through a Dutch partner, in order to make way to the Asian market and reach regions likeMacao, Malaysia and Middle East.
Ricardo Costa stressed that it is a very promising market and that it is u
