Hawaii Meat Market Recalls 4,100 Pounds of Ground Beef

About 4,100 pounds of ground beef was recalled Monday by the Higa Meat Pork Market in Honolulu for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination.

USDAs Food Safety and Inspection Service made the announcement. No illnesses have been associated with consumption of the product to date.

Subject to recall are 10-lb. bags of HIGA MARKET-GROUND BEEF BULK, that come in quantities of 1 to 6 bags per carton/case.

Each case bears the establishment number EST. 12457M inside the USDA mark of inspection, as wel
