Tuv India managing director Anil Rairikar remarked that with the implementation of the new Food Safety Standards Act, the foods products will undergo quality testing which for safety aspects such as pesticide residues, toxins, dioxins, antibiotic and hormone residues.
TUV India is confident of fulfilling this need. The laboratory will shortly also be seeking EIC, BIS, FDA and German QS approvals, among others, added Rairikar.
