Construction Requirements
Where guard rail is to be installed in rock strata, and excavation by ordinary means is not possible, 0.25m dia holes shall be drilled with approval of the Engineer. These holes shall be backfilled using concrete class 12/20. In no case cutting of post shall be allowed to facilitate the fixation.
Where guard rail is to be installed on top of a concrete wall or parapet, the post shall be cut to the
