Sunland shuts down peanut processing plant in US

Sunland, a US-based food company linked to Salmonella-contaminated peanut butter, has expanded the recall to include raw and roasted peanuts and has shut down its nut butter and peanut processing plant in New Mexico, US.

With the expansion of the recall, the company is recalling all of its products made since 2010.

The recall was initiated after food safety inspectors identified that Sunland products were found to be contaminated with the same strain that caused a multi-state outbreak in Septe
