Canada issues health alert over Kirkland brand beef steaks

Canadian Food Inspection Agency(CFIA) alert the public not to consume beef steaks produced by Kirkland as they may have been contaminated with E.coli O157:H7.

This alert affects all beef steaks including the Strip Loin Grilling Steak sold in variable weight packages at Costco wholesale store located in Alberta. These steaks were sold during the period 4 September through 7 September 2012.
