Ardagh has invested 10m in a two piece drawn, walled and ironed (DWI) food can line in the Czech Republic.
The investment at its plant in Znojmo will enable increased production of canned food for the Czech, Polish, Austrian and Hungarian markets with production starting at the end of the year.
Tim Clarke, sales director for metal food Europe, said the investment comes in their fourth DWI plant in Europe.
