Denmark-based Arla Foods Ingredients is unveiling a concept functional drink to aid in rehydration and recovery. The RTD sports nutrition solution features Lacprodan SP-9213, a whey protein isolate that the company states is able to retain its functionality when paired with electrolytes.
The new beverage targets what the company claims are two of the most significant goals in sports nutrition replenishing lost fluids and accompanying electrolytes and promoting muscle recovery.
