Mangoes produced by Mexico-based Agricola Daniella and imported by Splendid Products, based in Burlingame, Calif., have been placed on the U.S. Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) import alert list and will be denied admission into the United States unless the importer shows they are not contaminated with Salmonella.
FDA also is warning consumers not to eat mangoes from Agricola Daniella because they have been linked to a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Braenderup that has infected 105 people
