Vegetable prices in Syria’s Hasakah increase once more after a two-month decline

The cultivation of summer vegetables is widespread in the areas north of Hasakah, in a large percentage and in the south of it to a lesser extent, especially tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, zucchinis, watermelons and others.

Before putting the local production on the market, the prices of vegetables witnessed a significant increase, as the local markets in Hasakah depended on importing vegetables and fruits from Iran, Jordan and Iraq through the Kurd
