consignment of Geographical Identification-certified Fazli mango variety sourced from West Bengals Malda district was exported to Bahrain.
The Fazli consignment was exported by DM Enterprises, Kolkata, and imported by Al Jazira Group, Bahrain. According to the Ministry of Commerce Industry, APEDA has been taking measures to boost exports of fruits and vegetables from the non-traditional regions and states, by organising virtual buyer-seller meets and festivals to promote mango exports.
