Oceania: Onions become fourth most important export for New Zealand
Onions were one of New Zealand's dominant export crops in 2020, despite a slight drop in value from the previous year, according to the latest data. In 2019, the export value was NZ$170.3million, which dropped to $147.6m in 2020. However, this value is still up significantly on the five-year total, which jumped from $81.5m in 2015.
