Gautam Buddha Nagar district in the state of Uttar Pradesh will see more organic vegetable markets being set up. The goal is to promote the sales of fresh vegetables and fruits. Presently, only a handful of vendors sell chemical-free farm products in Gautam Budh Nagar.
To promote organic farming, the district administration will set up 3 to 4 more markets where organic produce will be available this year. The number of vendors selling organic fruits and vegetables will be quadrupled during 2021
