In Bangladesh Rajshahi agriculture region, growers have already exceeded the fixed potato farming target by 2.63%. The latest official data said the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) had set a target of producing around 3.7 million tons of potatoes on 160,000 hectares of land in all eight districts under the division during the current Rabi season.
