District government offers subsidy to encourage organic vegetable production

The state government has allotted Rs 700,000 for 452 acres in Trichy district under the National Horticulture Mission through the department of Horticulture and Plantation Crops, C. Vimala, deputy director of the horticulture department told TOI.
