Barry Callebaut bans animal testing

Barry Callebaut, the Swiss chocolate manufacturer supply Nestl, Unilever and Mondalez has banned animal testing.

Following communications with animal rights group PETA US and its affiliates, the chocolate maker has announced that it will not conduct, fund, or commission any animal experiments unless they are explicitly required by law.

Prior to the announcement, PETA US said it uncovered experiments on animals between 2007 and 2019.
