Mushroom compound may boost cancer survival

The study published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine reveals that the compound polysaccharopeptide (PSP) found in the Coriolus versicolor mushroom could have anti-cancer properties after cancer-suffering dogs given the compound as part of their diet had the longest survival times ever reported for dogs with the disease.
