Danish business conglomerate Maersk has decided to temporarily leave the port of Malaga for the Tanger-Med 2 port in Morocco.
According to Malaga Hoy, Maersks decision comes after the company noticed that ship activities have decreased in Malaga in February. The Danish firm therefore decided to bring its activities to Tanger-Med 2.
It is mainly due to the cost of transits as the possibility for Maersk to bring its ships to the Tangier terminal is much more profitable than leaving them in Mal
