Mr Kipling, the cake brand owned by UK-based food company Premier Foods, has introduced its Chequers cake range, which has been specifically designed for lunchboxes and general snacking.
The Chequers range features two varieties - chocolate and strawberry, which have the style of the brand's mini Battenberg. The products have been made without marzipan, to attract both older and younger consumers.
