The first shipment of Chilean table grapes has departed for the US

The Atlantic Acanthus ship, from the Global Reefers operator, has shipped out of the Puerto Caldera Maritime Terminal (TMPC) in northern Chile with the first shipment of seasonal fruit towards the port of Wilmington in Philadelphia, United States.

The ship transported 3,150 pallets of table grapes. According to TMPC, a total of 35,000 pallets will be transported in this period.

The commercial manager of Puerto Caldera, Christopher Aliste, said that this shipment marked the starting point of a
