Could vitamin E fortified foods help in fight against childhood asthma?

The new research, led by a team of Scottish researchers, aims to answer the question of whether deficiencies in vitamin E during pregnancy and early childhood can lead to the development of asthma.

The team, led by Professor Graham Devereux of the University of Aberdeen, is now recruiting pregnant women to the study. The women will receive a soup specially boosted with natural vitamin E containing food ingredients, as part of the experiment.
