Cargill expanding soybean crush capacity at Ohio site

Cargill is investing $225 million to expand its integrated soybean crush and refined oils facility in Sidney, Ohio.

The move is intended to better serve area farmers and to meet growing demand for protein and refine oils, Cargill said.

The investment will increase crush capacity and modernise operations, creating greater market access for farmers crops in the area.

This, Cargill said, will allow these farmers to deliver their soybeans more efficiently as the upgraded plant will unload trucks
