The Leisure Coast Fruit and Deli in Fairy Meadow has announced it would trial buckets, instead of bags, to indicate which price category applies produce. But the buckets are available for only some of the giant store's fresh produce selection, including bananas and lemons. Others, including apples, oranges and potatoes, are still using bags.
We will be trialling these new reusable buckets over the next few weeks in replacement of plastic bags in an effort to reduce our environmental footprint,
