Mexico's Melon Project will have a new location to process products

According to councillor Margarita Medina, the Melon Project cooperative society of the town of Matamoros, in the state of Coahuila, will have new facilities to manually process jam, chamoy, tamarind, empanadas, sweets, liquor, and water will be processed. Nearly 120 producers have joined this new project, which aims to generate employment in the region through the manufacture and packaging of these products.

Medina announced that they will take full advantage of the Matamoros' melon production.
