BRIC markets to drive growth for Kraft’s Mondelez spin-off

The developing markets of Brazil, Russia, India and China will drive sales for Krafts global snacks business Mondelez International, according to CEO Irene Rosenfeld.

Rosenfeld yesterday delivered a speech at the Barclays Back to School Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, US, ahead of Kraft Foods spilt into a global snacks business (Mondelez International) and a North American grocery business (Kraft Foods Group) on 1 October.

The company has forecast 5-7% sales growth in 2013 and in the long
