Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board caused government to lose RM3.71 million

On Monday, the 2018 Auditor-General report revealed that the Malaysian government has suffered a loss amounting to RM3.71 million (802,000) following the inexpert actions of the Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (MPIB) in retrieving the MD2 pineapple seeds from the participants under the Rompin Integrated Pineapple Plantation (RIPP).
