New US study finds wasp that can help control stink bugs

now found in 44 states, causing millions of dollars in crop damage.

The stink bug was first detected in Oregon in 2004. Since then, OSU researchers have found the pest in 24 of Oregons 36 counties, and in all of the states major fruit-producing regions. The bug also causes nuisance issues when aggregating on the side of homes and sheds in the fall.
