Vietnam’s mango exports increasing

Vietnam earned 193.2 million USD from exporting mangoes and mango products in 2018. This is up 24% year-on-year and making up 5% of the countrys total vegetable and fruit export revenue, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The value increased from 46 million USD in 2015, 68 million USD in 2016 and 156 million USD in 2017.

China was Vietnams major mango importer, accounting for more than 84.6% of total mango export value. The southern region boasts the largest area of mangoes, with
