Coca-Cola wants all the fruits it uses in Mexico to be produced there

The Coca-Cola Company, the largest soft drink company in the world, hopes to supply its inputs in Mexico with 100% national products by 2025 in order to reduce food imports of apples, peaches and soybeans, among other products.

The fruits we import the most are apples and the peaches. 40% to 60% of the apples we use are imported, while 100% of the peaches are imported, and that is where we are focusing, stated Cesar Espinosa, the manager of agricultural development for Coca-Cola Mexico. All of
