Butterball Ground Turkey Recalled; Associated with Salmonella Schwarzengrund Outbreak

Butterball LLC in North Carolina is recalling about 78,164 pounds of raw ground turkey products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella Schwarzengrund. The prepackaged raw ground turkey was produced on July 7, 2018.

An outbreak is associated with this recall; at least five people, including four in Wisconsin, are sick. The ground turkey was also packaged under the Food Lion and Kroger brand names.
