PinguinLutosa receives offers for potato unit

PinguinLutosa, the Belgian producer of frozen vegetables, has announced that it has received unsolicited non-binding offers for its potato unit.

The potato business was acquired by PinguinLutosa for 175m in cash.

The company noted that the board and management will evaluate the offers, by assessing the merits and risks for stakeholders, and added that it will make further announcements if and when appropriate, reported Bloomberg.com.
