Bosnian institute forbids tangerine imports from Turkey

Unsatisfactory results of phytosanitary inspections by officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), have led to the prohibition of the import of 20,400 kilograms of tangerine from Turkey on Monday. The reason: The amounts of pesticides found.

Based on the report on laboratory analysis issued, there was an increased presence of pesticide Fenvalerate found in the analysed tangerine samples, as stated in the phytosanitary inspection report.
